Serve, love, and bring hope to families with little or no access to healthcare. July 14 – July 28, 2027.
Especially in the life of someone who has little or no access to healthcare? This is your opportunity to serve, love, and bring hope to communities in need.
For more than 35 years, Project Compassion has been sharing God's love through compassionate service around the world. Now we invite you to join us for an unforgettable 15-day medical mission trip to Blantyre, Malawi.
Together we will serve in remote villages by setting up medical clinics and providing much-needed healthcare to families who might otherwise have none. More than a mission trip, this is a chance to build relationships, encourage communities, and be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Clinics can take shape in a church, a school, or an open field — anywhere a community gathers.
Project Compassion works with local churches and missionaries to bring medical care where little exists. A mobile clinic can transform a simple space into a fully functioning healthcare post in about thirty minutes — vitals, physician exams, medications, and a prayer and counseling area, all free of charge.
Clinics for families who may have no other access to a doctor.
Listening, prayer, and dignity alongside treatment.
Clinical skills, helping hands, translation, and a willing heart.
We serve alongside trusted Malawian ministry friends, not around them.
These dedicated leaders — and their families — have devoted their lives to some of the most vulnerable communities in and around Blantyre. They are trusted friends of the Project Compassion family, and we are honored to partner with them.
Serving orphaned and vulnerable children in and around Blantyre with food, schooling, and a family of faith.
A trusted pastoral partner whose congregation and outreach open doors in communities that need care and hope.
Leading a nonprofit medical clinic that brings clinical skill and compassionate care to families with little access to healthcare.
The team will lodge at Game Haven — a golden-stone lodge on a 500-acre private game park in Bvumbwe, about 25 kilometers from Blantyre. Giraffe, zebra, sable, and nyala graze the lawns. After clinic days, there is a verandah, a restaurant, and the quiet of the Shire Highlands.

In addition to serving in the villages, the trip will include several days of rest, fellowship, and relaxation. The itinerary is still being finalized. The team may enjoy a safari in beautiful Africa, or a relaxing stay on the beaches of a nearby country.
Game drives and guided walks at Chimwenya, or a longer safari as the final itinerary allows.
Time to rest, pray, and recover together — details confirmed once flights and lodging are booked.
Meals are included during the medical missions portion of the trip. Dates are approximate and may shift by a day or two depending on airline schedules and hotel reservations.
Whether you are a healthcare professional, a student, a seasoned mission volunteer, or simply someone with a willing heart, there is a place for you on this team. Your time, talents, compassion, and prayers can make an eternal difference.
